Licensed in Texas, New York and the United Kingdom (Scotland)

Grant practiced as a senior litigation attorney in high value, catastrophic injury and medical malpractice lawsuits for several years in the UK.  By age 25, he had appeared in Court in over 100 cases.  After moving to the United States in 2018, he passed the New York State Bar Exam and is duly licensed to practice law in both New York and Texas.

SHEVAWN BARDER

Shevawn is an accomplished entrepreneur with a proven track record of creating and leading innovative, modern and dynamic businesses in the (Re)insurance industry.  She has more than  30 years’ experience as an executive and  industry leader. 

She is CEO and founding Principal of AM RE Syndicate Inc and AM  Star Hold Co.  She provides invaluable strategic management and operational overview assistance to AM Star Claims LLC and our clients.

Previously, Shevawn was President of Ironshore Marine Re and has extensive and experience working in the market at Lloyd's of London. 

SIMON BARDER

Director

Simon has extensive underwriting and leadership experience in the (Re)insurance market.  As a Lloyd's trained active underwriter with his family-owned syndicate, his traditional training and unrivalled 'hands-on' experience provide  AM Star Claims LLC with an immersive depth of knowledge and understanding to review

the underwriting guidelines and practices of our clients.

Simon is Chief Underwriting Officer and founding Principal of AM RE Syndicate Inc and AM Star Hold Co. 

Previously, Simon was Chief Executive Officer of Ironshore Marine Re. He has held roles at Gerling, Cologne Re and Barder & Marsh.
